At Care & Ease Therapies, LLC, I provide individualized and evidence-based speech therapy services for children and adults. My approach is centered around helping clients achieve their communication goals and improve their quality of life. In addition, I provide dysphagia therapy services for children and adults to support functional eating and swallowing skills.
Services offered include assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for various speech disorders, language disorders, communication difficulties, and dysphagia. Early intervention services for infants and toddlers are also available.
Services are provided for adults with swallowing or communication difficulties related to stroke, traumatic brain injury, neurologic diseases, and other conditions.
I am a graduate of the Ohio State University with Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology. I hold a certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association. I am licensed to provide services in Ohio and Hawaii. As a certified speech-language pathologist, I have 20 plus years of extensive experience and training in the field of speech therapy. I am dedicated to providing my clients with the highest quality of care and support.

I am passionate about helping individuals develop functional skills in the areas of speech, language and dysphagia. I believe in working on goals that support the individual needs of the client. Articulation: Sound errors in speech can be difficult to remediate alone. Let's work together to develop the motor skills for intelligible articulation.
Phonological Disorders: These speech sound disorders can contribute to difficulties in word recognition, decoding difficulties, and potential difficulty with spelling. Speech therapy services can directly target the development of these skills.
Expressive Language disorder: The inability to clearly express yourself or communicate with others.
Receptive Language disorder: The inability to comprehend or understand what is communicated by others.
Pediatric dysphagia: This diagnosis could involve difficulty swallowing, disinterest in eating, sensory issues, oral motor deficits or more. Let's work together to determine your needs!
Adult dysphagia: This diagnosis may be due to injury, stroke, traumatic brain injuries, medication side effects, or many other diagnoses. Let's learn more about you!
Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder: a range of symptoms effecting ones behavior, cognition and learning skills. Limited attention and hyperactivity are common characteristics of this diagnosis.
Neurodiverse conditions include a wide range of learning styles. Services can support the development of functional communication skills, social skills, sensory processing skills, and learning skills.

For mobile services in Ohio, services will be provided at a location agreed upon, which may be your home, a library, or other. Virtual services will be provided through an online platform.
At this time, services are billed privately and not through insurance. You can contact your insurance provider to ask about coverage for speech services. If you need, a Superbill can be provided for you to send to your insurer.
You may need a doctor's order, yes. If you will need a Superbill, then you would need a doctor's order for Speech evaluate and treat so that this information can be used on the Superbill.
If you plan to pay privately, a doctor's order would not be needed.
Yes, private services can be provided. A review of the evaluation will be completed. Then, if need, additional assessment may be completed to create a treatment program that is right for you.
